1 中文简介 《概率论I》是理、工科专业本科生公共基础课。选修本课程需要满足以下四个条件,且缺一不可:1. 专业需要系统依赖本课程所涉及的知识;2. 已修高等数学(I\甲)课程;3. 已修线性代数课程;4. 具有计算机编程基础。本课程主要介绍概率论的基本概念和基本的理论与方法。内容主要包括:随机试验与随机事件、随机事件概率定义与概率性质、随机变(向)量概念与概率分布、随机变(向)量的数字特征、大数定理和中心极限定理等。通过本课程的学习,要求学生理解概率论的基本概念,掌握分析处理随机现象的基本理论与方法,锻炼概率统计思维的能力,提高概率统计素质,发展自身的自学能力与创新能力。为后继专业课程学习、进一步深造和从事科研、生产实践、管理工作奠定必要的基础。 2 英文简介 Probability theory is a compulsory course only for undergraduate students of science and engineering major. The students who take this course as an elective course must meet all the four requirements as follows: 1. their major courses directly depend on the knowledge system of Probability theory; 2. they have studied the course Higher Mathematics I; 3. they have studied the course Linear Algebra; 4. they have the capacity to computer programming. This course emphasizes the probabilistic foundations required to understand probability models and based statistical methods. Topics covered will include notion of stochastic phenomena and random events, axiom definition of probability and probability properties, the probability distribution of random variable,the probability distribution of the random vector, the commonly used probability distribution family, mathematical expectation and variance, and central limit theorem. Through the teaching and learning of this course, students are required to understand the basic concepts of probability theory and mathematical statistics, master the basic principles and methods of analysis of random phenomena, learn to apply statistical tool for analyzing the problems in professional study and the scientific research, improve the quality of their own qualities of probability and statistics. To lay the solid foundation for subsequent professional course learning, further education, and devoting oneself to scientific research, production practice and management work.
