The main contents include: Prehistoric and pre-Qin dynasty art; Qin and Han dynasty art; Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern dynasties and Tang dynasty art; Fine arts for the five Dynasties and song and Yuan Dynasty; Ming and Qing dynasty art; Modern art.
