Through experiments, students will learn about the process of photosynthesis, respiration, water relations, root absorption, nutrient metabolism, plant cell and tissue response to stresses. Through these learning activities, students will deepen their understanding of the theories of plant physiology, grasp the concepts to measure the physiological indexes of plants, the utilisation of associated laboratory apparatus and instruments. Furthermore, students will gain an appreciation towards experiment setups, including formulating hypothesis, designing of experiment procedures, collection and interpretation of data, and develop the habit of seeking truth from facts and paying attention to details when it comes to science research.
