Its main content includes general introduction, spatial data creation and editing, data transformation, spatial analysis on vector and raster data, 3D analysis, geo-statistical analysis, hydrological analysis and spatial modeling, etc. Through this course, the students should be familiar with the functions of GIS software common used both at home and abroad, systematically master the basic operations of main function models of GIS software, and could use GIS software to solve the actual agricultural and geographic problems skillfully and possess the ability of knowledge innovation. It would provide a base for subsequent courses study and professional technical works.
