This discipline mainly studies on virus. Virus is a relatively simple microbe, which contains the genetic materials (RNA or DNA), without regular cell structure. The studies of virus assemble and multiplication mechanisms have led to more understanding on the nature and the origin of life. This course focuses on basic knowledge of virus and viral disease, including virus classification, symptom expression, and virus transmission, and disease diagnosis and protection. This course will help students to better and fully understand the relevant knowledge of virus and keep up with the frontier development of virology.
