本课程旨在提高林产化工专业本科生的综合素质，着重培养学生对专业英文资料的阅读及写作能力。基于高年级本科生已经掌握的部分专业知识，针对学生的英语接受能力，以专题形式讲解化学反应及化工基础、天然产物、生物质转化技术、现代分离提纯技术等内容，让学生通过对专业英语的阅读，逐渐达到能够直接阅读专业英语书籍和外文文献的水平。 The purpose of this course is to improve the comprehensive quality of undergraduates majoring in Forest Products and Chemical Engineering, and to cultivate their reading and writing abilities of professional English materials. Based on the professional knowledge of the senior students, considering their English ability, the classes will be carried out in the form of featured topics: involving the interpretation of chemistry and chemical engineering, separation and purification of natural products, biomass conversion technology, chemicals separation and purification. Through the professional English reading, gradually achieved the capability that can directly read English books and literatures.
